Age-Adjusted Hospitalization Rate due to Short-Term Complications of Diabetes
This indicator shows the age-adjusted hospitalization rate due to short-term complications of diabetes per 100,000 population aged 18 years and older. Cases include a primary diagnosis of a short-term complication of diabetes. Short-term complications of diabetes include ketoacidosis, hyperosmolarity, or coma. Cases of gestational diabetes are excluded.
