Description

St. Peter's Dental Program improves access to dental care and treatment for the poor, elderly, and under served populations of Albany, New York, through outreach services and dental hygiene events.

The Dental Program works with other community organizations to fill gaps in care and enhance the work of others dedicated to improving the health of patients. Dental care is provided to schools through a mobile dental unit and to skilled nursing facilities through in-house visits.

The Dental Program is funded by Ronald McDonald House Charities, as well as donations by corporations and individuals.

Goal / Mission

The goal of St. Peter's Dental Program is to improve access to dental care and treatment for the poor, elderly, and under served populations living in and around Albany, New York.

Results / Accomplishments

Since its inception in 2006, the St. Peter's Dental Program has provided dental care to over 3,500 under served students and elderly patients.
