Description

RESOURCE is an organization that provides employment, training, mental health, and chemical health services. The Employment Action Center (EAC) provides career counseling, training, family services, veterans services, and business services such as prescreening job applicants and employee retention services. The Minnesota Resource Center (MRC) utilizes the expertise of over 70 business partners to assess skills sets, train and educate with accredited training courses, and assist job candidates in securing employment. Spectrum Community Mental Health assists individuals with serious mental illness to thrive through housing, treatment, and specialized case management programs. The Recovery Resource Center provides treatment for men and women with chemical health issues. All of RESOURCE's programs operate with a commitment to undoing racism and promoting diversity.

To empower people to achieve greater personal, social and economic success.

Results / Accomplishments

In 2011, RESOURCE helped 19,188 individuals, including 4,713 laid-off workers and other unemployed or underemployed adults, 9,091 parents on welfare, 909 at-risk youth, 862 adults with disabilities or other barriers to employment, 1,096 individuals grappling with substance-abuse problems, and 2,517 adults with a mental illness.
